-Introduction-

This is not about My Personal Life, rather My Personal Perspective on Life.

-Bending The Law-

I just read a story on the polygamous marriage of a Datuk with an actress without the consent of court and marriage registrar. That is just so Hilarious. For such a political figure and public figure to get involve in this kind of thing. Before I tell you what this is about.

Let's talk about all the actresses that get themselves married to a Datuk that is either a decade older or already has a wife or tag along a couple of children. Surely, they have better options? Or are they after the title when they already had enough fame? Title of Datin. But for some, perhaps it is true love? For she already had a Datuk title, so she don't need a Datin right?

You wanna know what I think? I think they are just like any other little girls that when fall in love, or when desperate for love. They'll settle for whoever comes knocking, given he has got the charm and quality to be with them. Another thing is, perhaps, guys their eyes just don't dare pursue them, for they think it's complicated the entertainment business and all. So apparently the guys that dares to go after them are that of corporate figures and politicians.

Oh yea, when a woman is too smart, it is said that it's hard to get a guy. I agree with this for some, at least more than half the guy population will not ask a smarter woman out. I'm not saying smart just a little, but take this example, a blue collar worker with a woman professor, that kinda smart, or perhaps a lighter example, a graduate and an office boy, even thou I've seen such cases, but apparently, the girl graduate do not have a mind of its own, simple minded girl that quits her job after she got married. That simply wants a simple life with her child, well, it's her preference, I'll respect that, I'm just saying that there are just some people who are so highly educated yet their mind works rather easily.

Well, that's just what I think. We'll leave it at there alright?

Aha, the main topic. Well, the court says that since the Datuk is a prominent figure, a fine will be more relevant than imprisonment. And for the actress, it says that jail time would tarnish her reputation. And when you put it that way, both of them won't end up in jail either way, isn't it?

What I'm saying is. The law is not Straight at all. So what if they're some who or who? I thought the law is suppose to protect the rights of every one with the same equality given. But no, such things don't happen here.  From what I see, the law is already bend, and not even that, do you know that when something happen, suddenly they'll be this new ruling and new written law? That's how it is, something that may not be an offence but because they want it to be they make it an offence, I won't clarify myself on that, I know not enough to talk about it.

Another thing is that, at here:

Got money = Can go free.

It's like monopoly, when you got into jail, you can actually buy the Get out of Jail card from another player, just like how the people here bribe their way out and in of everything. Even the M@C.C.

-Humanity-

Salam. As you should know. Is an Arabic greeting. Meaning Hello/Hi/Peace. And the longer version Salaam alaykum in the Al-Quran meaning Peace be with you.

After watching "My Name Is Khan". It struck me that I'm just the same. The same Prejudice attitude. Biased attitude towards the Race that we loathe so much. And the Religion that we so despise. Yet if we think so. Even more act as they would expect or what is expected of them. It will make us no difference than the very community we look down on with disdain.

It's a story with the main Religion being Islam in questioned. Yet it goes far beyond that. It's not about showing the Good Side of it. Rather the Truth in it. Like Yasmin had always tried to portray in her movie. Shahrukh manage to do so in this.

I'm not being brain washed if that's what you think. Just because I've always been an avid fan of his movies doesn't mean I'll agree with everything he says. But I doubt that you will beg to differ if you even have a sense of humanity in you after watching this movie.

Shahrukh Khan stated that My Name Is Khan is "not about terrorism, or 9/11. It’s about a relationship between two people, between an individual and the State, and between an individual and the country. In short, there the three important components: love story, Islam and a mild form of autism."

Khan also noted that the film focuses on themes concerning "the relationship between the Western world and Islam and how that has changed over the past few years." He describes the film as about "the journey of one family and how it changes because of 9/11" and suggests "we touch upon that in a very unbiased and educated way.

He also stated that, "it’s not about a disabled man’s fight against disability. It’s a disabled man’s fight against the disability that exists in the world — terrorism, hatred, fighting ... My Name is Khan is also about Islam and the way the world looks at Islam but we are not taking any sides. We are only trying to say that there are only good people and bad people. There are no good Hindus, bad Hindus, good Christians, bad Christians. Either you are a good person or a bad person. Religion is not the criterion, humanity is."

However, surely there are those who disagree and of such has brought to consequent protests and demonstrations against him and demands that cinemas in India refuse to screen My Name Is Khan. Khan responded by stating, "What did I say that was wrong? All I said was that I wanted people to come to my country." Khan continued by stating that: "I have no idea what I am supposed to apologise for. If I am in wrong I would like to apologise but someone needs to explain to me what is wrong." He also stated that he does "not want any confrontation. I am trying to explain myself on every platform. I have not said anything that is anti-national."

It opens my eyes to so many things. Here are some quotes I've written down from the movie and some of my own.

From The Movie:
-There are only two kinds of people in this world. Good people who do good deeds. And bad people who do bad. That's the only difference in human beings. There's no other difference. -Razia Khan
-Good people, bad people. No other difference. -Rizu[Rizwan] Khan.
-There's nothing wrong with being scared, just don't make your fear so large that it stops you from achieving your goal.-Mandira
-We shall overcome.
-My name is Khan. And I'm not a terrorist. -Rizwan Khan
-The death of one innocent is equal to the death of humanity. -Al Quran
-Hadith says that the Almighty does not judge by colour or creed but by actions and deeds.
-Mandira: Sam, our khan has managed to achieve, with his love and humanity, what my hatred could never achieve. My anger threw us apart, but today his love has brought us together in a way where we remember you with renewed hope.

My Quotes:
-What is worst than being prejudice to one for the faults of another?
-How different am I from those that are biased if I too feel the same within?
-It doesn't take an individual to change the whole humanity. It takes an individual to realize it.
-How do you deal with the loss of love one when he is as much a part of your soul as you are to him?
-Religion is not the cause of war however much you'll like to blame it. It is men who find excuses to have blood shed and tears poured.
-Why is it the simple things that the kids realize failed to be understand by the adults?
-Perhaps when you learn to respect the religion of another. They too will learn to respect the religion of yours.
-I am one with no religion. I hold strong to my faith and that is suffice to be my guidance.
-I fail to think that there could be more than one God. For how can it be when there's only one Earth?
-If a smile could brighten another's day. A tear could wipe the smile off the face.
-It is funny that we could all sing the same anthem yet differs from the same belief.
-Is the fear of death worst than the fear of speaking up? That one would remain silent and not speak what is true?
-It is not the despair that tears us apart. But the fear of being torn again in the heart.
-Death can take away everything you believe in.
-And if one man shall take the path of hatred instead of love. It is suffice to ignite the flames and we shall all perish  in fire.

I don't think it's necessary for us to revisit history and review this issue again. It seems the more we talk about it. The more people has the wrong idea. So why don't we just review ourselves and do what's right with what little sense of humanity left in us. As Shahrukh mentioned in the movie. "The more I try to understand the world, the lesser I know."

Anyway, although I personally think this is the best Hindi movie I've ever watch, which doesn't even have its usual dancing scene that comes out of nowhere. And the fact that half the script is Hindi and half English, plus most of the scenes are shot in America. The best Shahrukh Khan movie I've watch no doubt.

I strongly recommend anyone of everyone out there to watch it. Regardless of who you are. It's not about the Race. It's not about the Religion. It's about Humanity.

-Sharp Shooter?-

I'm sure those who've read the news, and watch the news are informed of the recent case of a boy-without-license driving in the middle of the night. And which caused the very death of him. Shot by a law enforcer. When it comes to this, who's to be fault and who's to be held responsible?

This is nothing personal, the reason you're seeing this post here, is because of how many different people is having different takes on this HOT issue for the moment. And I am particularly one without a really specific view on this, but to address things thoroughly.

Today's Headline of The Star: Wee Hour Kids

And that 3 words are enough reason to get a hearing from my parents. Blah blah blah they start to go on. About me going out late at night. And blah blah blah, go here go there, dunno go where.[Which fyi, is to the movies and supper.]

Well. technically, I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, and blah blah blah, and here's a list of 10 activities disapproved by parents, and like usual the rebellious teens take part in it.

And if you do notice, among all staying out late at night ranked the highest. Well, isn't that a relief that it isn't drugs or racing or alcohol ranking the highest? Instead of feeling despair over youths staying out late? Look on the bright side people, if staying out late ranked the lowest among all, I'll say you have a MAJOR problem in the house. Heh.

Ok, back to the case. Well, I'll speak about the police man before I get to the troubled youth. The one who shot him. Even when it's unsure if the person in the car is a criminal or not. And moreover, turns out to be a youth after all.

My dad always mention the same thing whenever the police shot dead a criminal. Our policemen is really amazing. They are all sharp shooters. But funny thing is, when Malaysians enter the Olympics, they can't bring back a medal[Referring to the shooting team]. So I told him, because the ones that enter aren't policemen. Really, the police officers should try being a shooter at the Olympics as a change of job

Why does he say that? And why do I seem to agree with him? Simple. Because time and time again, you open the newspaper, turn on the news, and you get the headline: Criminals shot dead by policemen. Sometimes you'll see a title like policeman shot dead by criminals. But that's like a 100:1 ratio. Main reason is of course because the criminals aren't that well trained, and another is that the police is too well trained. They can't hit any other parts of the body. The instant they fire their guns. Bang, the once alive human just drop dead like that. Even if it's not the first shot, the criminals still end up dying. How rare is it to see a criminal injured by a policeman lying in the hospital? I'll tell you, very rare.

Well, I'm not stating anything here, it's nothing bad that they're sharp shooters who can shoot dead a person whenever they fire. But the criminals. Do all of them really deserves the fate that befalls them? Shot dead before they got the chance to admit to their crimes. Are all of them really guilty enough to have the death sentence without being sentenced?

Criminals have families too, no matter how you see it. Sometimes they are so bad we just want them out of this world. But perhaps somewhere, they have a wife and child to feed, waiting for them at home. Even though that serves as no excuse to commit crimes. And I'm not feeling empathy for them. But I do sympathize for whoever cares for them. The one that will still shed tear when they die.

Now turn it over the other side. The child that was shot dead, he is 15, not even 16, in the eyes of the law, he is a juvenile. That is driving without a license, Crime Number 1, and which is driving while being underage, Crime Number 2, even though you could relate it as the same crime. And which might cause dangers to the other road users, Crime Number 3, considering the fact that he has no license and are not allowed to drive yet.

So yea, at one point, he is the one that is wrong. At another, he still is. But, I'm not the one to judge. My mum seems to have an opinion on this. The mother says he's a good boy. So as my mum says. A good boy won't go out in the middle of the night driving a car without license while being underage. So which part of him really seems like a good boy at that moment when all the evidence point to him being in the wrong?

Well, I'll have some respect for the deceased and so will discuss no further of his attitude.

Now we'll talk about the parents and the teens. Teenagers committing crime outside, parents fault? Or their fault? That depends you know? Youths ain't puppets that will do as they say. It is the time when they develop their own mindset and will decide for their own. You may be able to tell or show them what's right or wrong, but in the end they decide for themselves what is and what isn't.[As of me? I still need guidance, but I know enough to not get involved in stuff that is uncivilized.]

There're always two kinds of everything, two kinds of people, two kinds of child. To differentiate them generally. One kind of parents, that don't give a damn what their child does. Another kind of parents, that is constantly worrying about their child. One type of kid, that does whatever they like regardless of the consequences. Another type of kid, that knows what to do and what not to do.

When something like this happen, the society always find someone to blame. But the truth is, you can't blame everyone because of one person. It isn't fair to say that the parents are the ones at fault for allowing their kid to be wild. I'll tell you this, no parent will want their kid to end up like that, unless they couldn't care less to educate their kid in the first place. And another thing is, not every teens are like that. This is what people should realize and stop putting us all at the same page. When not every paper is white, and not every paper is stained.
