-Introduction-

This is not about My Personal Life, rather My Personal Perspective on Life.

-Bending The Law-

I just read a story on the polygamous marriage of a Datuk with an actress without the consent of court and marriage registrar. That is just so Hilarious. For such a political figure and public figure to get involve in this kind of thing. Before I tell you what this is about.

Let's talk about all the actresses that get themselves married to a Datuk that is either a decade older or already has a wife or tag along a couple of children. Surely, they have better options? Or are they after the title when they already had enough fame? Title of Datin. But for some, perhaps it is true love? For she already had a Datuk title, so she don't need a Datin right?

You wanna know what I think? I think they are just like any other little girls that when fall in love, or when desperate for love. They'll settle for whoever comes knocking, given he has got the charm and quality to be with them. Another thing is, perhaps, guys their eyes just don't dare pursue them, for they think it's complicated the entertainment business and all. So apparently the guys that dares to go after them are that of corporate figures and politicians.

Oh yea, when a woman is too smart, it is said that it's hard to get a guy. I agree with this for some, at least more than half the guy population will not ask a smarter woman out. I'm not saying smart just a little, but take this example, a blue collar worker with a woman professor, that kinda smart, or perhaps a lighter example, a graduate and an office boy, even thou I've seen such cases, but apparently, the girl graduate do not have a mind of its own, simple minded girl that quits her job after she got married. That simply wants a simple life with her child, well, it's her preference, I'll respect that, I'm just saying that there are just some people who are so highly educated yet their mind works rather easily.

Well, that's just what I think. We'll leave it at there alright?

Aha, the main topic. Well, the court says that since the Datuk is a prominent figure, a fine will be more relevant than imprisonment. And for the actress, it says that jail time would tarnish her reputation. And when you put it that way, both of them won't end up in jail either way, isn't it?

What I'm saying is. The law is not Straight at all. So what if they're some who or who? I thought the law is suppose to protect the rights of every one with the same equality given. But no, such things don't happen here.  From what I see, the law is already bend, and not even that, do you know that when something happen, suddenly they'll be this new ruling and new written law? That's how it is, something that may not be an offence but because they want it to be they make it an offence, I won't clarify myself on that, I know not enough to talk about it.

Another thing is that, at here:

Got money = Can go free.

It's like monopoly, when you got into jail, you can actually buy the Get out of Jail card from another player, just like how the people here bribe their way out and in of everything. Even the M@C.C.

::..How do you Break what is already Bent?..::

-Humanity-

Salam. As you should know. Is an Arabic greeting. Meaning Hello/Hi/Peace. And the longer version Salaam alaykum in the Al-Quran meaning Peace be with you.

After watching "My Name Is Khan". It struck me that I'm just the same. The same Prejudice attitude. Biased attitude towards the Race that we loathe so much. And the Religion that we so despise. Yet if we think so. Even more act as they would expect or what is expected of them. It will make us no difference than the very community we look down on with disdain.

It's a story with the main Religion being Islam in questioned. Yet it goes far beyond that. It's not about showing the Good Side of it. Rather the Truth in it. Like Yasmin had always tried to portray in her movie. Shahrukh manage to do so in this.

I'm not being brain washed if that's what you think. Just because I've always been an avid fan of his movies doesn't mean I'll agree with everything he says. But I doubt that you will beg to differ if you even have a sense of humanity in you after watching this movie.

Shahrukh Khan stated that My Name Is Khan is "not about terrorism, or 9/11. It’s about a relationship between two people, between an individual and the State, and between an individual and the country. In short, there the three important components: love story, Islam and a mild form of autism."

Khan also noted that the film focuses on themes concerning "the relationship between the Western world and Islam and how that has changed over the past few years." He describes the film as about "the journey of one family and how it changes because of 9/11" and suggests "we touch upon that in a very unbiased and educated way.

He also stated that, "it’s not about a disabled man’s fight against disability. It’s a disabled man’s fight against the disability that exists in the world — terrorism, hatred, fighting ... My Name is Khan is also about Islam and the way the world looks at Islam but we are not taking any sides. We are only trying to say that there are only good people and bad people. There are no good Hindus, bad Hindus, good Christians, bad Christians. Either you are a good person or a bad person. Religion is not the criterion, humanity is."

However, surely there are those who disagree and of such has brought to consequent protests and demonstrations against him and demands that cinemas in India refuse to screen My Name Is Khan. Khan responded by stating, "What did I say that was wrong? All I said was that I wanted people to come to my country." Khan continued by stating that: "I have no idea what I am supposed to apologise for. If I am in wrong I would like to apologise but someone needs to explain to me what is wrong." He also stated that he does "not want any confrontation. I am trying to explain myself on every platform. I have not said anything that is anti-national."

It opens my eyes to so many things. Here are some quotes I've written down from the movie and some of my own.

From The Movie:
-There are only two kinds of people in this world. Good people who do good deeds. And bad people who do bad. That's the only difference in human beings. There's no other difference. -Razia Khan
-Good people, bad people. No other difference. -Rizu[Rizwan] Khan.
-There's nothing wrong with being scared, just don't make your fear so large that it stops you from achieving your goal.-Mandira
-We shall overcome.
-My name is Khan. And I'm not a terrorist. -Rizwan Khan
-The death of one innocent is equal to the death of humanity. -Al Quran
-Hadith says that the Almighty does not judge by colour or creed but by actions and deeds.
-Mandira: Sam, our khan has managed to achieve, with his love and humanity, what my hatred could never achieve. My anger threw us apart, but today his love has brought us together in a way where we remember you with renewed hope.

My Quotes:
-What is worst than being prejudice to one for the faults of another?
-How different am I from those that are biased if I too feel the same within?
-It doesn't take an individual to change the whole humanity. It takes an individual to realize it.
-How do you deal with the loss of love one when he is as much a part of your soul as you are to him?
-Religion is not the cause of war however much you'll like to blame it. It is men who find excuses to have blood shed and tears poured.
-Why is it the simple things that the kids realize failed to be understand by the adults?
-Perhaps when you learn to respect the religion of another. They too will learn to respect the religion of yours.
-I am one with no religion. I hold strong to my faith and that is suffice to be my guidance.
-I fail to think that there could be more than one God. For how can it be when there's only one Earth?
-If a smile could brighten another's day. A tear could wipe the smile off the face.
-It is funny that we could all sing the same anthem yet differs from the same belief.
-Is the fear of death worst than the fear of speaking up? That one would remain silent and not speak what is true?
-It is not the despair that tears us apart. But the fear of being torn again in the heart.
-Death can take away everything you believe in.
-And if one man shall take the path of hatred instead of love. It is suffice to ignite the flames and we shall all perish  in fire.

I don't think it's necessary for us to revisit history and review this issue again. It seems the more we talk about it. The more people has the wrong idea. So why don't we just review ourselves and do what's right with what little sense of humanity left in us. As Shahrukh mentioned in the movie. "The more I try to understand the world, the lesser I know."

Anyway, although I personally think this is the best Hindi movie I've ever watch, which doesn't even have its usual dancing scene that comes out of nowhere. And the fact that half the script is Hindi and half English, plus most of the scenes are shot in America. The best Shahrukh Khan movie I've watch no doubt.

I strongly recommend anyone of everyone out there to watch it. Regardless of who you are. It's not about the Race. It's not about the Religion. It's about Humanity.

-Sharp Shooter?-

I'm sure those who've read the news, and watch the news are informed of the recent case of a boy-without-license driving in the middle of the night. And which caused the very death of him. Shot by a law enforcer. When it comes to this, who's to be fault and who's to be held responsible?

This is nothing personal, the reason you're seeing this post here, is because of how many different people is having different takes on this HOT issue for the moment. And I am particularly one without a really specific view on this, but to address things thoroughly.

Today's Headline of The Star: Wee Hour Kids

And that 3 words are enough reason to get a hearing from my parents. Blah blah blah they start to go on. About me going out late at night. And blah blah blah, go here go there, dunno go where.[Which fyi, is to the movies and supper.]

Well. technically, I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, and blah blah blah, and here's a list of 10 activities disapproved by parents, and like usual the rebellious teens take part in it.

And if you do notice, among all staying out late at night ranked the highest. Well, isn't that a relief that it isn't drugs or racing or alcohol ranking the highest? Instead of feeling despair over youths staying out late? Look on the bright side people, if staying out late ranked the lowest among all, I'll say you have a MAJOR problem in the house. Heh.

Ok, back to the case. Well, I'll speak about the police man before I get to the troubled youth. The one who shot him. Even when it's unsure if the person in the car is a criminal or not. And moreover, turns out to be a youth after all.

My dad always mention the same thing whenever the police shot dead a criminal. Our policemen is really amazing. They are all sharp shooters. But funny thing is, when Malaysians enter the Olympics, they can't bring back a medal[Referring to the shooting team]. So I told him, because the ones that enter aren't policemen. Really, the police officers should try being a shooter at the Olympics as a change of job

Why does he say that? And why do I seem to agree with him? Simple. Because time and time again, you open the newspaper, turn on the news, and you get the headline: Criminals shot dead by policemen. Sometimes you'll see a title like policeman shot dead by criminals. But that's like a 100:1 ratio. Main reason is of course because the criminals aren't that well trained, and another is that the police is too well trained. They can't hit any other parts of the body. The instant they fire their guns. Bang, the once alive human just drop dead like that. Even if it's not the first shot, the criminals still end up dying. How rare is it to see a criminal injured by a policeman lying in the hospital? I'll tell you, very rare.

Well, I'm not stating anything here, it's nothing bad that they're sharp shooters who can shoot dead a person whenever they fire. But the criminals. Do all of them really deserves the fate that befalls them? Shot dead before they got the chance to admit to their crimes. Are all of them really guilty enough to have the death sentence without being sentenced?

Criminals have families too, no matter how you see it. Sometimes they are so bad we just want them out of this world. But perhaps somewhere, they have a wife and child to feed, waiting for them at home. Even though that serves as no excuse to commit crimes. And I'm not feeling empathy for them. But I do sympathize for whoever cares for them. The one that will still shed tear when they die.

Now turn it over the other side. The child that was shot dead, he is 15, not even 16, in the eyes of the law, he is a juvenile. That is driving without a license, Crime Number 1, and which is driving while being underage, Crime Number 2, even though you could relate it as the same crime. And which might cause dangers to the other road users, Crime Number 3, considering the fact that he has no license and are not allowed to drive yet.

So yea, at one point, he is the one that is wrong. At another, he still is. But, I'm not the one to judge. My mum seems to have an opinion on this. The mother says he's a good boy. So as my mum says. A good boy won't go out in the middle of the night driving a car without license while being underage. So which part of him really seems like a good boy at that moment when all the evidence point to him being in the wrong?

Well, I'll have some respect for the deceased and so will discuss no further of his attitude.

Now we'll talk about the parents and the teens. Teenagers committing crime outside, parents fault? Or their fault? That depends you know? Youths ain't puppets that will do as they say. It is the time when they develop their own mindset and will decide for their own. You may be able to tell or show them what's right or wrong, but in the end they decide for themselves what is and what isn't.[As of me? I still need guidance, but I know enough to not get involved in stuff that is uncivilized.]

There're always two kinds of everything, two kinds of people, two kinds of child. To differentiate them generally. One kind of parents, that don't give a damn what their child does. Another kind of parents, that is constantly worrying about their child. One type of kid, that does whatever they like regardless of the consequences. Another type of kid, that knows what to do and what not to do.

When something like this happen, the society always find someone to blame. But the truth is, you can't blame everyone because of one person. It isn't fair to say that the parents are the ones at fault for allowing their kid to be wild. I'll tell you this, no parent will want their kid to end up like that, unless they couldn't care less to educate their kid in the first place. And another thing is, not every teens are like that. This is what people should realize and stop putting us all at the same page. When not every paper is white, and not every paper is stained.

-True Beauty-

*Pretty: Pretty/Handsome[Good Looking People]
*They: Generally referring to everyone, not just you, not just me. But whoever it may be.

Who and what defines the person we are?
This is not about me, or maybe it is too,
Am I pretty? Or am I not?
What's True Beauty to you?
Who and what tells us what beautiful is?

There's something in my mind that I have been processing lately.
Something I've thought about and realized so long ago.
That our Physical Outlook truly does play a part in defining our Personality.
For one, those who are Pretty may not be Polite as they may look to be.
A Fat person may just as well be Fabulous & Fun.
Being born with Flaws doesn't make you Imperfect.
It only makes you a Stronger person than those that are born with none.
What's beauty without the eyes?
Yet it is still pretty for the heart to see.
And that's how you feel for the ones you love and the ones you care.

What do I mean when I say that the way we look affects the type of person we are?
I'm not saying I'm pretty,
I don't know if I'm pretty,
Even if I may feel pretty,
Others may as well find me not pretty.
So pretty or not,
In this case,
I'm not referring to myself.
Rather how a person feels about themselves,
And how they Perceive one another?

In time, I realized that most Pretty Faces,
Know that they are pretty,
And for that they know how to Flaunt it,
How to Use it for their own Benefits.
Getting In and Out of Anything or Everything.
It seems to be an Easy Way,
A Convenient Pass to get whatever they want, whenever they need it, wherever they are.

Most fat people has low self-esteem,
Mainly for how others look at them,
And mostly for how they look at themselves.
Yet even people with slender figures,
May never be satisfied,
Thinking they are not pretty enough,
Not skinny enough and sorts.

The Mirror is but an Illusion of what you see of yourself,
Not how others see you as,
Beauty is in the Eyes of the Beholder as they say,
It's true that most beauty is generally Accepted and Approved by the society,
And the idea of beauty has been passed down from generations to generations,
Altered by trends and lifestyle in time,
Beauty never remains the same,
It's constantly changing,
That man can never define.

PS: There's more I could write about honestly, about how the way you look influences the way you act. Then again, I keep finding the difficulty in finding the right words to express my thoughts and the ideas in my head. So, I'll leave it at that, and let's hope that my poem could show you a clearer view. =)

Check out my poem in +Silent.Voices+ later. Meanwhile, I'll go work on it now.

::..If flaws are what makes me a better person. I accept it as a part of me..::

-Infidelity-

The Truth is. It's not an easy Task to stay Firm & Faithful in a Relationship. Just talking of Commitment will cause the knees of many to go weak. Women and Men alike.

In Contrary to popular Belief, that guys are always the ones that are afraid of losing their Freedom. Women these days are just the same. Even if it's only less than a quarter of them. Still. There's a different kind of Happiness in being Unattached than being Attached.

With Attachment, comes Responsibilities. Next comes a World that no longer Belongs to Yourself. But Everyone else that has been Tied with the String. A Bond that could not be Broken. A Relationship called Family.

In the Game of Infidelity. It causes more Harm than just Two, or even the 3rd party. It could Break a Family apart. Yet there are many that do not Realize how Selfish and Self-Centered they are being by thinking only of their Joy, their Lust, their time of Relaxation that is actually Hurting another person. The person that truly Cares, and that truly Love them.

A single Mistake. And all the Make Believe Happiness. All the so called Perfect Life will be Washed away in a Blink of an Eye, followed by a Sea of Sadness. The Consequences of a Disgraceful Lie.

If you don't Love your Spouse. At least think of your Children. If you don't Love your Children. You can go to Hell. Who on Earth do not Love their own Flesh & Meat? As they always say. It's a Part of You. You  Created them. You Made them. You have to be Responsible for your Actions. That may Lead to Unhappiness among your Family. Among your Children.

And in this Game of Infidelity. No one is Excused of the Blame. Be it the Person who Commits the Sin. Or the Accomplice that Played along.

::..Every Choice you make. Every Action you take. You are to be held Responsible for Everything that Happens along the Strings of Life..::

-ABC-

The following is merely my opinion regarding Worshipers of the Religions and no offence against any of the Higher ones above and the Mediocre ones below.

A for All**[I'm so not getting ISA for this, duh.]
B for Buddha
C for Christ

Bet you never thought of that huh? Heck, it just strikes me one day. And as you guys should have known Dog spelled backwards is? That's probably offensive, but I'm not hinting anything, or am I? That is for you to decide. All and all, my purpose of writing this post is not to degrade or disrespect any of the Religion or Faith you Believe in. Ironically it is the otherwise, if you would let me.

As the Quote says: "There's no such thing as Bad Religion, only Bad Followers." I couldn't agree more, though many will say otherwise, that there is a Bad Religion. But you see, to me, in Religion, you don't hold on to what you can't see, you hold on to what it preaches, of the Good and the Bad, and Man writes out their own Destiny, the Higher ones only show us the way. But in the End, it is up to us to decide which path are we to take, the one with the Light, or Straight into the Tunnel.

Many times, it is Man who are afraid of the Brightness and opt for the Darkness instead. Here's a Quote that I bear in mind. "We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when adults are afraid of the light." Need I say more? No, because we all know, that it is simply the Truth.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

So then I'll start with the A, in case you did not catch up with the News, which I barely am myself. There's been this whole issue with the usage of the word All**? Ding Dong? Ring a Bell? Yea, that's it, the story I want to tell. Here's the thing, my dad is right. Other people would be Delighted to Share what they believe in, but no, not the A Worshipers, they are Selfish to the state that only they and they only can Practice their Faith, what they Believe belongs to them.

The following excerpt serves as an intro, the rest of the info could be found at Wiki.

[All** is the standard Arabic word for God. While the term is best known in the West for its use by Muslims as a reference to God, it is used by Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, in reference to "God".]

So there you have it. But in M'sia, they are against the usage of it for the other Religion. When the word does not even Belongs to them. Why is it that for what preaches Good can make people do Ugly things? Why is it for one thing people Believe in, can make them Sin instead?

Regarding the Sin issue. I'm sure we are no Strangers to the Quote: "Killing in the name of God". You must have heard that haven't you? Cause that is exactly what the Suicide Bombers and all the Bad Followers strongly Believe they're doing. The Vigilante of the World. The Righteous people. The one to Restore Peace on Earth. When they are actually in fact the ones creating War & Pain & Hurt non-stop. They are Nonchalant towards the Lives of People. The Grief it Brings. And the Blood Shed.

Like I said, I have nothing against the Religion, only the Bad Followers, so if you're not one, I'm pretty sure you won't get offence by what I write here. Isn't it so? Unless you too, Believe what they do is Right. If so, tell me what Hell is like? That is when you get to there one day.

...........................................................................................................................................

Now B for Buddha, as I said, as Buddha would have say, He's a Teacher, not a God. He cannot decide our lives, we decide our own. He is a Guidance, we are the Students. He show us the Right Way, it is in turn up to us to pick the Right Choice.

As this is of my own Religion, I dare to say it's not really a Religion as others may have deemed to be. The Misconception of it being one is because we Believe in Him. Otherwise Misinterpreted as He as our God. When clearly He isn't. But one who has Attain Nirvana and merely wants us to do the same.

[In BuddhismNirvana is the state of perfect peace reached by not wanting more than you have. It is every Buddhist's goal to achieve Nirvana. The Buddha described it as: “the far shore, the subtle, the very difficult to see, the unaging, the stable, the undisintegrating, the unmanifest, the unproliferated, the peaceful, the deathless , the sublime, the auspicious, the secure, the destruction of craving, the wonderful, the amazing, the unailing, the unailing state, the unafflicted, dispassion, purity, freedom, the unadhesive, the island, the shelter, the asylum, the refuge...” (SN 43:14)- Excerpt from Wiki]

...........................................................................................................................................

And now lastly of the 3 Main Religions in M'sia is C. Christ as in Christian, as in Christianity, as in this. Since they are Diverged into many Sub-Faith, I know not enough to say much about it. Hence I guess it is Suffice that they Preach what they Believe in. For who's Faith is not for me to Judge when we have our own.

"Man...is a tame or civilized animal; nevertheless, he requires proper instruction and a fortunate nature, and then of all animals he becomes the most divine and most civilized; but if he be insufficiently or ill- educated he is the most savage of earthly creatures."
